Mainstay Midwifery LLC offers community-based midwifery services that aid in empowering the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience.  We embrace the idea of what a natural homebirth can represent based on real data. For example, according to a 2014 study done by the Midwives Alliance of North America (MANA), which examines nearly 17,000 courses of midwife-led care, homebirth mothers had much lower rates of interventions in labor. While some interventions are necessary for the safety and health of the mother and baby, many are overused, lack scientific evidence of benefit, and even carry their own risks. 

 Jessie, the Certified Professional Midwife at Mainstay Midwifery, received her training from the MEAC-accredited Direct Entry Midwifery program at Southwest Wisconsin Technical College.
